Week 4.

Heeey Bloggers (: Well, im starting my week off pretty bad! I left my phone charger in my cubby D; Its a 3 day weekend with no phone </3 So, to start off the week i feel pretty disappointed in giving my period a D, because i had a 3/5 on my binder check -.- ugh, but after that i fixed that problem right away(x lool. but other than that i have A's in my core classes but a B in English -.- im soo sure Mrs.Rapp hates me(x AHHAHA. This week was soooo, ugh. Like the Leadership Backpack, i mean in was hard at first, but its just cause a few of us were thinking too hard! It was actually really simple. But i just wanna talk about math right now, im seriously falling behind! Mr.Bertrand is killing me! I got 1 wrong on one of my homeworks and he still wont take it -.- like duude, its just 1. And after that he refused to take all my work after. I cant wait for this coming week when we get to challenge the other periods, i hope Period 2 wins(x

My highlight for this week was today, because Me,Korey & Laila got to watch " This Is Us " it was a documentary of One Direction. Legit, i cried when Zayn sticked his hand out!(x We watched it in 3D so it made like he was reaching his hand out to us. To be honest, i wasnt such a big fan of One Direction. I was just the type of person who liked their songs, but because of their latest song " Best Song Ever " i just fell in love with them! My lowlight of this week is probably binder check, this was a lowlight for me because i let my group down, its all my fault for giving them a D, when they really dont deserve it. Im very sure the next binder check i'll be getting our group an A.

Lesson learned for this week, do not procrastinate. Procrastinating will lead you no where! But it will for sure lead to forgetting then later not even doing whatever task was given to you. Procrastinating is definitely not aloud in leadership if anything, this program is very busy all the time. There's no time for " later. " This could also lead to a habit, im saying this because i was sort of like this last year, i always put other things before leadership & did what i had to do later, but now i put leadership before all the other un important things such as friends, i actually dont even like hanging out with the friends i used to be with before(x lol.So chyah..

Good Week So far ~ (Week 3)

School has been going by real quick, to me. Classes have been going realy good with me so far, like i have straight A's right now, i hope i could keep that up. Math, i think is really easy, like a few days ago i needed help but i actually was doing good! I just needed to concentrate more and try harder. For Leadership, i took one AR test & I got 90% correct, but im sure im on 60% if i were to divide my points and stuff. Mr.Ing introduced us to our 1st Quarter Project, which is a project called " Leadership All Access Khrizz " Cause yeah, it's like doing a vlog. Where we have to vlog from when we wake up to when we go to sleep, we have to do that for two days but the maximum for the video is 12-15? i think, minutes long. I think that maybe we should make it a few more minutes longer than that though. Im really excited for this Project, i think it will be really fun to do this, and we get to like see how & what its like to be in another persons life LOL. Something like that. Period 3, Social Studies. This class is actually really easy right now, i think its because we are learning about American History which i feel better about learning, cause last year Hawaiian History was boring to me. Im happy i have an A for that class, cause we have to study & take a test for the US Capitals & im sort of good at remembering things soo looool. chyahhh. Period 4, English. Omggg, Mrs.Rapp has been irritating lately HAHAH, Were learning about Text Structures. See what i did there? Lol okay. Period 5, Mediaaa. We learned about how to interview someone and like rules for using the computer in that class. Period 6, Whaale, were learning about mass, volume and like units and stuff. I feel like imma fail with that. 

My highlight of the week is the Reunion, it was nice seeing a few of the other students from last year and a few years ago, i feel kinda sorry for the seniors because Mr.Ing told us that they were the class of when we had Furloughs, so most of their activities were always cancelled, i think. Thats probably why they only had a few field trips. But other than that, i hope everyone had fun. A low light of my week is CROSS COUNTRY. I USED TO LOVE RUNNING, BUT NOW ITS LIKE MEHHHHH. Omg, calm down Caps. AHHA. But like Cross Country been killing me! Im not much  of a fan of running like how i used to be. Oh wells. 

What i learned this week is the US State Capitols in Social Studies lol, i find it very easy actually, i been having all A's for eadch of the Test, so im very confident for the last one.

Lesson 1: Cleaning Lady

 I think Mr.Ing is reading this lesson to us because we work with a lot of people and so we need to know them and also because we need to learn to respect them.
What does this have to do with Leadership?
This relates to Leadership because since we work with alot of people, we need to know who we are working with and we need to learn to respect them because we have a big reputation in the school so most students look up to us and especially teachers and office ladies expect more from us. Also, on one part of the lesson it said that many people deserve our attention " as in students should be respectful & thankful for us  too. I noticed most students dont realize we do alot for them too.
Lesson Learned?
The lesson to this was to tell us that because we work with alot of people we should know who we work with and not forget about them, like in leadership. We cant be selfish so we gotta put students before us.

Lesson 2: Pickup In The Rain
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us?
 Mr.Ing is reading this to us because we need to help everyone, regardless of who they are because you never know that your help can mean much more than you think it does.
What does this have to do with Leadership?
This relates to Leadership because since we work with alot of people, everyone has different attitudes and if they need help, we should just help them because they count on us, we have to let them trust us. Just because you dont like that student or teacher, we should help them.
Lesson Learned? 
The lesson to this was to help other who need help, regardless of who they are(; also, because you never know how much the help would mean to them.

Lesson 3: Always remember those who serve
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us becasuse we have to be understanding with who we work with because in the story it says " He had to have enough left to leave her a tip " because he did this, the waitress didnt understand why he couldnt just buy a sundae since had enough money anyway. The waitress just became impatient with the little boy not knowing he was nice enough for this.
What does this have to do with Leadership? 
This has to do with Leadership because we have to be understanding and patient with our customers we work with in leadership. We cant be rude and impatient, it just shows how low we are. We have a big reputation in the school, we can't show our customers that we dont want to work with them
Lesson Learned?
Be kind to those you work with. "Sucess has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others. "

Lesson 4: The Obstacle In Our Path
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because in life, we will come across alot of obstacles and some will either over come it or run away from it.
What does this have to with Leadership?
This has to do with Leadership because we are gonna have alot of obstacles and what matters most is how we will overcome it. Running away from it wont help, it could just turn to a bigger problem and the more you run from it the harder it is to get back. So, its important to over come things, you never know what can come out of it, it could even be a reward. Over coming obstacles can lead to being succesful too.
Lesson Learned?
Take chances in life, especially if you choose to give up, dont. what you do in the present reflects to your future, obstacles are put in your way to see if what you want is really worth fighting for. God dosent just put an obstacle in your life if he knows you arent strong enough to get through it.

Lesson 5: When It Counts
Why is Mr.Ing reading this to us?
Mr.Ing is reading this to us because we need to learn to give up most of our time for leadership or to those who need help, just like how the little boy agreed on giving up some of his blood to his sister.
What does this have to do with Leadership? 
This has to do with Leadership because we need to learn to give up most of our time, we need to have Leadership our number 1 priority. We need to learn that there are much more important things in life than being with friends etc, sometimes its even better putting others before yourself because we find that others might have it worse than you.
Lesson Learned?
Dont be selfish. Give thanks, dont expect too much either. The little boy thought he would have to give up all his blood for his sister, and it shows he would give up anything just for his sister to live! Alot of people dont realize about giving. Usually, people are selfish, no one really does think about how thankful they should be as of what they have, they dont realize how bad others really do have it.

Second Week Of School

Daaang, this week went by pretty fast! Anyway, so this week we started off with even periods, for period 2 we finished up sharing bio cubes, period 4 we had star testing and omg im kinda okay with my GE thingy i guess, i kinda wish i got higher, but its  my fault for guessing on SOME on purpose -.- okay, period 6, we took notes on volanoes and yeaaah. Odds, so for period 1 math. We just did reviews of addition & adding with decimals, easy for now. Period 3 is Social Studies, we took a test on the US Capitals, im surprised i got an A. Then period 5, we took  notes on Interview tips, as in what to do while having an interview yeah.

My highlight for this week was Period 2's meeting. We basically shared our feelings towards each other, well some were shy with admitting things but im sure we are gonna become much more comfortable later. Another of my highlight for this week was the lesson Mr.Ing gave us. The lessons really had me, i've thought a lot about it & i've been staring at the lessons every time i come pass them, like i feel guilty because sometimes i really dont think of it in ways of what the lesson was teaching us. But yeah, the lessons really had me thinking of what kind of person i am, and what i shouldnt be, etc. 

The Lesson that I learned this week is to be more comfortable & confident of myself, like when sharing bio cubes, im pretty sure i was loud but i didnt sound confident of myself, or what i was trying to say. I think i should feel more confident with myself & what i want to tell others because if im not confident it would just show how weak i am, also because i have a very loud voice & its like for nothing, because i use it for the wrong reasons, like with friends im loud but presenting things i become very soft. 

Voices. The voice that i usually find myself using depends on who you are, if im comfortable with you then i'll be loud and clear. Im pretty loud when i explain or describe things though. But sometimes i talk way too fast.. If im not comfortable with you, ill just talk much more softer than usual & i won't really talk. The voice used for intramurals that i should be using is my voice that i use to talk with my friends. My voice i use when im trying to explain things, because if im not loud then no one would listen to me when thats the important thing because some students are gonna be really dumb that they wont bother to even pay attention. The difference between how i normally speak is that im not as confident when talking to a big crowd because if i do talk loud i feel like people wont listen to me and im just gonna feel embarassed, but talking with my friends im fine because i know they heard me since i have a loud voice. 

First Week Of School ^---^

So this week went by really slow! I thought it would goo by pretty quick. There are actually alot of 7th graders than i thought, but all of them are sooo tall! & honestly, some are so disrespectful. Like some act like they been in Ilima forever, they push me down & tell me what to do, likeee i guess! On Monday was intense, i worked ID's for that whole morning & i cant believe i got throught it(x looool. I also worked ID's on Tuesday, the lines were long, i had to work pretty quick too. It wouldve been better if we were prepared for this but even Mr.Ing didnt know we were supppose to handle this. But i had a fun time going to my classes, i like most of my classes, mostly cause people i know is there, yeah. Wednesday -Friday period 2 worked Lounge, but we didnt open that yet so we helped Afterschool sales, afterschool sales goes by really quick. its like only 5 minutes maybe even less! barely anyone comes in too.

My highlight of this week was on Wednesday when Korey sang one part of a song, that was my highlight cause i couldnt stop laughing after. I even laugh till now, just typing this im laughing. Another highlight is on Thursday when i got to hang out afterschool with Zhaslyn, Anna, Tierra, and Jayna, We all went to Pandas to go eat & crusied around Safeway, i had a good week. My Lowlight of this week is probably Period 5. My period 5 has this duude thats obsessed with me, and thanks to Laila, he leaves me alone now. But in class is Yuri & shes just sooo offensive, and she disrespects the teachers, it gets me soo frustrated when she interrupts the teacher, sad though cause shes a new teacher & stuff.

Lesson of this week is to dont let other get in the way of you because its important to worry about yourself first, if anyone is in your way or an obstacle, learn to over come them because being stuck there wont get you anywhere. You have to find a way to get out of it  fix it. Dont just let the problem sink in even more, this just reminds me of last year when i kept putting myself in alot of problems where it would be hard to solve & i would have a hard time getting back on track again. & chyahhh, Have a good week guys.

Last Week Of Summer.

This week, we finished up Schedule Pick Up. It was really slow this week, barely any customers. LOL. and the Tropical Storm? I knew it wouldnt touch us. But this week has soooo humid! Ughhh.  Also, on Thursday we had to bring props to make a Dress Code Violation video for 7 & 8th graders cause its more exciting if we show a video instead of the teachers reading the planner like usual. But before all of this, we had a meeting or lecture with Mr.Ing. He basically talked about an expectation of a leader, we talked about what not to do & those things, and like we have to take this program serious, dont take it for granted. We talked about how we feel after being here for a month or longer. We even talked about mistakes and stuff like that. Then Friday we went to the Ala Moana beach park, aka Magic Island. lol. I had fun today, bonding with a few people. im so sure i got black ;(

My highlight of this week was obviously yesterday!(x i had alot of fun. So, Me, Laila, Korey, Macky & a few other people decided to try and swim to the reef because we saw Alesia, Jahjah & Jayde go. But it turned out to be a fail because i had to be paranoid &  i swear i saw a turtle head pop out the water about 2x so i started freaking out but we were SO CLOSE to reef, then i started swimming back & even the others, and like we all began to freak out lol(x and it took forever reaching the shallow side, seriously. We tried going back a few times too, but failed anyway. Then we got out the water & went to the trees to go swing on vines, aha. that was funny!(x after we ate we had i think half an hour to swim alittle longer, we tried going back to the reefs one last time, but i had to be all paranoid so i didnt follow the others, i just stayed in the shallow, but Macky, Korey & Jahjah, and Alesia, etcc. they went to the reef lol. i was like the bad luck xD lmaao. but anyway, that was my highlight.

What i learned this week is to understand people more, this week for me & a few others, we assumed things, also that other perrson, and it was just wrong cause the more we didnt talk about it or held it in it wouldve caused alot of drama, and we didnt want that. So, we had a talk to clear things up, and i learned that we shouldnt have said anything stupid, because we really didnt need to say those unnecessary things, we shouldve kept things to ourself because we didnt know alot about that person yeno, we just. omg. Lesson is to understand someone before you get to judging. all im saying.

Collecting Feeees ~Week 1.

Heey Bloggers, im so late. Pooop. Okay, so for this week we continued doing schedule pick up for those who didnt pick up their things on the first day & stuffy. Ohh, i got to work ID's for the first time in a long time. I gues i still remember how to work it, but i still made a few mistakes. I got to also work for Uniforms. & writing on a receipt again, signing etc lol. brings back alot of memories from last year(x ahaaa, this week was really fun. Part of Period 6 & 2 is getting closer! We've been making challenges & stufffs. If anything, our Youtube Channel is called " Double Wimps " you guys should check us out. Sucks for me, i havent been getting any sleep. Anyway, before i got offically accepted into this program i had to make myself a flyer of something that would remind about a talk that me & Mr.Ing had, i got a quote, the quote reminds me of making sure i wont be bad as i was last year. & stuff like that.

The highlight of my week is getting along with Period 6. We would add Period 4 but they werent with us when we first created " Double Wimps. " Although, we could still let them be part of us, idk. But were getting pretty close, i mean doing the challenges together, were always laughing and stuff. I think me & Korey got close, like we were close before in Elementary sorta & a little last year, but now we talk almost daily. LOL. Can you guys watch out videos on youtube please(x get us on Ellen, im joking. Our first challenge was the Soda & Mento Challenge, jeeeze. That burned out mouth man.. and korey's throat was hurting but we were all just laughing at her, lol. Then we did Baby Food Challenge. Never eat Brocoli Carrots with Cheese, like omg. That was too nasty yoo. Everytime i burped, i could stilll taste it!

The lesson i learned this week is to be careful with money, because one mistake with money can cause alot especially because the office depends on us to handle these stuff. One of the leaders made a mistake with the money, i dont know the full story, but just knowing it had to involve Mr.Ing talking to the group kinda made me think it was a big thing. Another lesson, is not to forget about the key. Keeping the doors locked is important incase someone comes to the school & tries to wreck things yenooo, it also reminds me back to last year when the key got lost & etcetc.
